Seat for greater Comfort in Agricultural Machines

Situation:

Tractor drivers have to turn around often to watch attachments at the rear, and they frequently remain in that position for quite a while. In addition, they are assaulted by vibrations when traveling over uneven or sloped terrain. All of these factors greatly increase their risk of suffering back pain or even injury.

Innovation Dualmotion:

The upper part of the backrest adjusts automatically to user's posture when they turn around. This actively supports operators while they are watching rear attachments, thus minimizing the associated strains. To ensure easy use of the “dualmotion” solution, Grammer has intentionally refrained from installing an additional control element. Instead, it intuitively and automatically adjusts in response to the upper body's rotation. Such a seat feature is not yet available on the market.
