Important decisions in the General Assembly

The ECN general assembly 2014 took place at the ECN congress on 3rd and 4th April 2014 in Friedrichshafen. A new board has been elected, the dates of the ECN congress in 2015 have been set and an ergonomic award will be advertised in the next year.

Development of an ergonomic award

The Association intends to organize an award ergonomics. In two categories, companies can compete with one of their products that is traded on the German market.

While in the category "hand tools" the subject is given, the type of competition object in the category "Innovative ergonomics" is not specified. You can submit services, products, job designs, software, etc..

The registration fee for nominated companies is based on the company size, so that smaller companies are not disadvantaged.

Congress 2015

The Congress of the ECN should not take place in Friedrichshafen next year. With the topics of medicine and usability the event should take place at a local focus of medical technology, for example Tuttlingen, or at a medical technology company that is willing to sponsor the event to perform. The Congress 2015 is planned for March/April in coordination with other important dates for ergonomists.
